The FBI raided the offices of DOJ Special Counsel Scott Bloch today, adding yet another name to the increasingly long list of Bush appointees who have resigned, are under investigation, or have been convicted of a crime. Bloch is responsible for protection of federal whistle blowers, and has held his position since 2004. He is under investigation for allegedly retaliating against employees, violations of the Hatch Act (using federal resources for partisan political activities), and obstruction of justice. Bloch is perhaps most well known for refusing to investigate claims of harassment or discrimination based on sexual orientation. The full story can be found at NPR News.
