George Carlin, best known by some for his "Seven Words You Can Never Say On Television" routine, others for his roles in Dogma and Bill & Ted's, and others still for developing more offensive ways to use the word "cunt", has passed away. Though it is a regular fixture of comedy acts today, his use of profanity, sex jokes, politics, schadenfreude, and general contempt for the human race made Carlin a pioneer when he started. His vitriol will be missed.
